Our sweet 6-year-old son, Shlomi, was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome – a rare and severe heart defect.
The left side of his heart barely functions.
We flew from Israel to Columbia Hospital in the U.S., where Shlomi is now undergoing a series of life-saving surgeries. He has at least 3 more surgeries ahead in the coming months.
Back home, our 7 other children are left behind, cared for by others during a time of war. Between medical bills, flights, housing, and caregiving – we are overwhelmed.
We are begging for help to save our son’s life.
